My name is Torgny Almholt but my friends call me ”TG” since Jesus walked on water.
I am not so old but some mornings i fell like 2000 lightyears from home.

I was born in late 1959 when everything around us and all people where happy.

My Rolling Stones debut begins 1972 when my friend played songs from ”Let it bleed” on his guitar.
I try to do the same but my fingers are like ”sausages” so they don't fit right on the guitar.
The best way for me was to listen to the band on a record player.

The years passed by till 1982 when it was time for the band to play Ullevi in Gothenburg.
The debut with the band could be earlier but in 1973 the tickets was cheaper to watch Deep Purple than the band…shit happens…

In 1982 we get tickets for Ullevi and i remember that when the band get out on the stage i thought ” they are for real”!

After that, the Stones are in my heart for the rest of my life.

I have seen all shows in Sweden since then, except ”Cirkus 2003” and ”Globen 1998” .
I have been on the show with Ron Wood and Tottas Blues Band and Mick Taylor here in Gothenburg.

In 2006 we went to ”Horsens” Denmark and watch the Bigger Bang show there.

That was the place for me to meet the boys in the Stones Vikings.

 

I´am doing some radio shows in Gothenburg Sweden with Mr: Ove Tingvall and one of the highlights was when we got
Blondie Chaplin on phone in our radio show called ”Stonetime” a late evening in July.
Vilhelm, our president in Stones Vikings had set up an interview with Blondie who was in Paris to celebrate Mick´s birthday,
it was hot, wery hot that evening when we get Blondie on the phone. We talked about his new album and lots of other things.

The rest is history.

I collect Lp´s, singles and cassettes with the boys but most lp´s.
