I'm Jokke Nurmi and I have been a Rolling Stones fan over 40 years I was born in 1951 in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. I was growing up with good music in the mid 60's, getting married and I got two lovely daughters, but in 1984 I was widowed. Now my both daughters have a highschool education. I am a dentaltechnician and working in my own dental laboratory in Lohja, some 60 kilometers outside Helsinki. The first band i saw live was The Animals in 1964 in Helsinki. Soon after that I heard The Rolling Stones with "Walking The Dog" on the radio. Well, I said to myself: "THIS IS MY MUSIC". Later I saw Rolling Stones No1 in the window of a local record shop. I bought it. RS No2 I ordered from England because records were very expensive in Finland at that time. After that, I have bought every LP or CD just when the have been issued. I saw The Stones first time live in Helsinki in September of 1970. It was an one hour 15 minutes show with no breaks, remembering Mick and Keith sitting on barstools doing an acoustic "You Gotta Move" and then "Midnight Rambler" that was like an earthquake! By now I have seen more that 30 concerts and my daughters have three gigs each.
