Hi fellow Stones Fans! Im Olle Wiman from Sweden 54 years old and I started to dig the Stones in 1965 and I have done ever since!! I collect Rolling Stones records, mostly vinyl and also books about the band and their members. Besides the Stones music I like Blues both American and English artists and bands. I`m also a member in the Brian Jones Fan Club, not to be mistaken with the Fan Club Spirit. In the last weekend of February 2005 the Fan Club held a meeting in Brians home town Cheltenham where we celebrated Brians birthday, he was born February 28th 1942. On the Saturday there was a meeting with around thirty members at the Carlton Hotel in Cheltenham. We had something to eat and drink and a few people more or less famous came to play, i.e. a certain Mr Dick Taylor ! Dick as you may know decided to quit the band in September 1962 in favour for his studies at the Sidcup Art School. He later on made a lot of success in The Pretty Things, a band that is still doing some touring. On the Sunday we went to Brians grave to put flowers and then we split and I together with the editor of the Fan Club Mr Trevor Hobley and two others went to London to stay the night. Monday morning we drowe to Heartfield and visited Cotchford Farm. We could enter the house and saw the dining room, the music room and then the garden with the swimming pool. When finished with Cotchford Farm Trevor and I drove to West Withering to see The Redlands, Keiths house since 1965 on the south coast. This is the place where the famous drug bust / set up took place. This finished this weekend and I`m going back there in 2006 again, and this time also to visit Dartford and the Station Hotel in Richmond and also the Olympic Studios in Barnes. But before that Im going to NYC in September as I have tickets for the MSG gig on September 13th and then comes Mr William Perks alias Bill Wyman to Sweden in late October and first days of November, and then the European part of the new word tour next year................! We have something to look forward to folks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With the very best wishes from a true Stones heart and fan. Olle Wiman

The Brian Jones Fan Club www.brianjonesfanclub.com The editor is Mr Trevor Hobley and the mailing address to the club is: The Brian Jones Fan Club 48c Newtown Road Bedworth Warwickshire England CV128QS The Fan Club is very active and must not be mixed with the other Brian Jones Fan Club, Spirit. One Fan Club magazine, Aftermath is issued four times a year and the latest issue was a Joujouka Special.
Ms
Pat Andrews ( Brianīs ex girlfriend and mother to one son Mark ) is
also active and very supporting as well as Brians old friend since
the Cheltenham teenage days Mr Dick Hattrell. They both moved up to
London from Cheltenham after that Brian moved to London for
good Saturday March 17th, 1962. At that time Brian had met Alexis
Korner as he had played in Cheltenham two times with his band Blues
Incorporated. Brian and Alexis became very close friends and Brian
used to sleep on the floor under the kitchen table at Alexis place
when he visited London before he moved there. The Fan Club are having
meetings every year in Cheltenham to both celebrate and remember
Brian, first in February because of Brianīs birthday February 28th.
And then one in July around the 3rd as this date is the official day
of his death. Brian Jones by Alan Clayson. Foundation Stone by Graham Ride ( Graham lived with Brian in Cheltenham for nine months ) Death of a Rolling Stone by Mandy Aftel Brian Jones, The last decadent by Jeremy Reed Then there is a book with the name, The Murder of Brian Jones by Anna Wohlin. Her story is very personal but it could be interesting to read her story of what happend at Cothford Farm that hot night between July 2 -3, 1969. There are two more books, Who Killed Christopher Robin and Golden Stone. The last book I have been told is of very little use. The first one Who Killed Christopher Robin should be a good book but I have not yet been able to find it. I can also inform you that the Fan Club is working and has put a lot of effort, and with sucsess, to have the whole Police investigation reopend. It looks today that the case will be opend up and that all documents in the investigation that was made in a hurry in 1969 will be gone through. This is VERY intresting because there are many questionmarks in this dark story. Personally I do not think that the film Stoned will answer any of those questionmarks. We just have to wait and see. If you have any qustions and would like to know more about Brian or anything connected to him or if you have more interesting facts in this case please contact me via the NSV web site. Rock
On Folks and remember whenever you listen to a Rolling Stones song
do as it says on the inner sleve to Let it Bleed : Olle Wiman
